JOB TITLEPython Engineer – Database InfrastructureJOB SUMMARYDevelops and maintains database infrastructure through Python and Unix shell scripting. Builds new functionality and supports existing infrastructure required to sustain complex environments. Works independently to deliver automation projects, perform unit and integration testing, and ensure timely completion of tasks with minimal supervision.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain modules/scripts using Python and Korn Shell (ksh)
• Work on database-related infrastructure and automation projects
• Perform unit-level and integration testing for developed solutions
• Provide maintenance and support for existing infrastructure
• Deliver projects on time with strong ownership and accountability
• Collaborate with global teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Document development and testing processes

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 2–5 years of experience in software engineering or infrastructure development
• Strong Python scripting skills
• Strong Unix shell scripting experience (Korn Shell preferred)
• Good database knowledge (design, maintenance, automation)
• Experience with revision control systems (e.g., Git)
• Understanding of scripting as a core requirement
• Knowledge of Perl is a plus

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED2–5 years in Python scripting, Unix shell scripting, and database infrastructure

Education: Bachelors Degree
