About The Role

• Lead and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, and fixed assets.
• Ensure timely and accurate month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP / IFRS.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Manage annual financial audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Monitor and manage the record‑to‑report workstream and provide guidance to support team members.
• Deliver monthly, pre‑close and final, quarterly, and annual reporting packages for executive leadership.
• Monitor and explain variances against budget/forecast.
• Provide accounting insights that support business decisions and cost control.
• Streamline workflows, close cycles, and reporting processes for efficiency.
• Lead implementation or optimization of ERP/accounting systems.
• Identify opportunities to enhance accuracy, automation, and scalability.
• Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
• Partner with the CFO or VP of Finance on forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow.
• Gain exposure to strategic projects (M&A integration, financing, growth planning).
• Coordinate with external regulatory agencies for audits, where necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

What we need from you

• 8 – 12 years of progressive Accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA, MBA or CMA preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
• Proven ability to lead accounting teams and improve processes.
• Hands‑on ERP and financial systems experience (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and audit processes.
