Role Overview

The Physical Security Specialist plays a supportive and essential role in helpingIntelcom|Dragonflymaintaina safe, resilient, and efficient environment across all sites.Member of the security & Loss prevention team, therole focuses on protecting people, assets, and facilities through incident response, risk assessments, emergency preparedness, and operational security support, in alignment with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.In thisrole, you help coordinate incident response, strengthen compliance, and provide guidance that enables teams to work confidently and securely.This position offers the opportunity to positivelyimpactdaily operationswhile contributing to a more agile, collaborative, and proactive physical security function.

Responsibilities

Physical Security & Incident Response

• Act as the first responder to physical security breaches, incidents, and emergencies, ensuring rapid coordination ofinitialresponse actions.

• Supportimplementationand enforce access control measures, including visitor management processes.

• Manageissuance, revocation, and administration of access badges, alarms, and security permissions.

Risk Management, Audits & Inspections

• Conduct security audits, site inspections, and risk assessments across corporate offices, hubs, and field locations.

• Ability to detectvulnerabilities and develop recommendations to mitigate security risks.

Documentation, Compliance & Best Practices

• Maintainaccurateand up-to-date security documentation,includingbut not limitedtoincident reports,audit results,equipment inventories, etc.

• Serve as a localphysical security risk management contact, promoting best practices, compliance, and continuous improvement.

• Supportdepartmentbusiness continuity andassistteam members strengthen theservicequality and effectiveness.

Qualifications

Experience& Background

• 3+years of experience in physical security operations, losspreventionor a related field.

• Experience supporting multi-site operations in environments such aslogistics, warehousing, transportation, or supply chain is a strong asset.

Technical& ProfessionalSkills

• Knowledge of physical security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm systems).

• Familiarity with emergency preparedness and response protocols.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

Communication &Languages

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.

Licensing&OperationalRequirements

• Valid Private Security or Investigator License issued by the Bureau de laSécuritéPrivée(BSP), in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

• Ability to work in industrial environments, including walking and traveling between sites.

• Ability to manage digital files.

• Validdriver’slicense.
