The Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health) has an immediate opportunity for a Pediatrician to join the Department of Pediatrics at the North Island Comox Valley Hospital in the oceanfront community of Comox.

The North Island Comox Valley Hospital is a beautiful facility that opened in October . There are inpatient beds and the hospital serves a population of approximately 66, people, and is a referral center for some surgical specialties. In addition to Pediatrics, there are a broad range of consultants including Internal Medicine, Intensive Care, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Urology, Psychiatry, Otolaryngology, Radiology and Family Medicine.

We have an academic affiliation with the University of British Columbia (UBC) postgraduate programs and are a teaching hospital. We have a Family Practice Residency Program and are involved in both medical student and residency teaching
