Building Custodian

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our facility. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and maintenance. The Custodian will also be responsible for lawn maintenance and light snow shovelling at entrance doors.ResponsibilitiesEmptying garbages / recycling / green bins.Cleaning bathrooms / kitchens.Sanitizing high touch surfaces.Landscaping and grass cutting in the summer.Shovelling snow and salting parking lots during the winter.Maintain building cleanliness including sweeping, mopping, operating floor cleaner and cleaning up debris inside and outside of the building.Exhibit strong moral principles in all of our interactions & processes.Promote MPC’s core values and actively contribute to a positive and rewarding team environment.Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly after use.Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as necessary.Other duties as assigned.
