THE RENFREW COUNTY DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD

requires the following

EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT PERSONNEL

SCHOOL : Arnprior District High School Arnprior

FTE : 100% (35 hours per week)

QUALIFICATIONS : A minimum two year community college diploma in the social services field (e.g. DSW CYW SSW) or an equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable to the Board. (Transcripts may be requested to support relevant course detail.)

Applicants must have a proven ability and willingness to perform the essential duties of an Educational Support Personnel including toileting diapering feeding lifting

transferring positioning and providing assistance with mobility.

Other relevant training that would be an asset :

Autism Spectrum Disorder Training

Behaviour Management Systems (BMS)

Lifting training

WHMIS certification

Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS)

Prior experience using computer supports and adaptive / assistive technology is an asset

Hiring will follow the requirements outlined in the Collective Agreement for the Educational Support Personnel and the RCDSB Administrative Procedures. Positions will be filled by members of the Boards Educational Support Personnel bargaining unit BEFORE external applications are considered. The Board reserves the right not to fill a position.
