We are looking for a dedicated, dynamic, compassionate, innovative, and inspiring teacher librarian to join our school family. A person with integrity, the successful candidate will have the ability to work collaboratively with staff and students to make a difference in the lives of others while working hard and having fun. King David is a growing school with approximately 270 students and 50 staff members. We are looking for an educator who will thrive in a relational setting and will support and implement a competency-based approach to teaching while caring for and supporting students’ emotional well-being and development.
The successful candidate will have a love of reading, experience running a library, and a joy for teaching adolescents. The candidate will also have an openness and excitement to find ways to integrate Judaic Studies into all aspects of the curriculum. We are looking for candidates who truly want to use their passion to make a difference in the lives of our students. You must value diversity as it relates to all people, including aspects of identity, and have respect for indigenous traditions and ways of knowing.
