Position Overview

Autodesk Entertainment & Media Solutions is looking for a Senior Business Strategy Manager; you will have experience in management consulting and experience with the media entertainment industry.

You will drive multiple strategy and growth plans of Autodesk's media entertainment division. We ask that you understand the industry to drive important decisions.

You will be an important contributor to the success of Autodesk's Media & Entertainment division, and you will work with a talented and dynamic team of professionals who are passionate about bringing the latest technology to the media entertainment industry.

Location : You can be based inMontreal, Toronto, San Francisco, Los Angeles (Hybrid / Remote Options Available) and will report into the Senior Director, M&E Business Strategy.

Responsibilities :

  • You will provide input to develop the strategic planning process for the Media & Entertainment division at Autodesk.
  • You will collaborate with the industry strategy team in providing feedback into industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • You will collaborate with the Product, Marketing and Sales teams to influence and implement growth plans including successful GTM approaches for new products and platforms.
  • You will lead market research and analyze data and customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • You will develop relationships with partners, including executives, customers, partners, and industry associations.
  • You will use your consulting background to provide expertise, identify strategic opportunities, operational efficiencies, and implement best practices.
  • You will lead plans for new offerings and products, including business model frameworks, pricing strategies and distribution channels.
  • You will develop and monitor measurements to measure the success of growth plans.
  • You will present findings and make recommendations to senior leadership and other partners (both internal and external).

Minimum Qualifications :

  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • You have 10+ years of work experience in a role, ideally in investment banking, management consulting, or in a strategy & operations-focused role at a gaming or technology company and have 5+ years working within the M&E industry.
  • You are an Expert in Excel and have story telling in PowerPoint using your analysis
  • You have the ability to travel up to 20%

Lieu : Vous pouvez être basé à Montréal, Toronto, San Francisco, Los Angeles (options de travail hybride ou à distance) et vous relèverez du directeur principal, Stratégie d’entreprise média et divertissement

Responsabilités :

  • Vous contribuerez à l'élaboration du processus de planification stratégique pour la division média et divertissement d'Autodesk.
  • Vous collaborerez avec l'équipe chargée de la stratégie sectorielle en fournissant un retour d'information sur les tendances du secteur, la concurrence et les besoins des clients afin d'identifier les opportunités de croissance.
  • Vous collaborerez avec les équipes Produit, Marketing et Ventes pour influencer et mettre en œuvre des plans de croissance, y compris des approches GTM réussies pour les nouveaux produits et plateformes.
  • Vous mènerez des études de marché et analyserez les données et les commentaires des clients pour éclairer le développement des produits et les stratégies marketing.
  • Vous développerez des relations avec les partenaires, notamment les cadres, les clients, les partenaires et les associations du secteur.
  • Vous allez utiliser votre expérience en conseil pour apporter votre expertise, identifier des opportunités stratégiques, améliorer l'efficacité opérationnelle et mettre en œuvre des pratiques recommandées.
  • Vous serez en charge des plans pour les nouvelles offres et les nouveaux produits, y compris les structures de modèles d'entreprise, les stratégies de tarification et les canaux de distribution.
  • Vous allez développer et suivre des mesures pour mesurer le succès des plans de croissance.
  • Vous présenterez vos conclusions et ferez des recommandations à la haute direction et à d'autres partenaires (internes et externes).

Exigences minimales :

  • Baccalauréat en administration des affaires, en marketing ou dans un domaine connexe
  • Vous avez plus de 10 ans d'expérience professionnelle dans un rôle, idéalement dans les services bancaires d’investissement, le conseil en gestion, ou dans un rôle axé sur la stratégie et les opérations dans une société de jeux ou de technologie et avez plus de 5 ans de travail dans le secteur médias et divertissement.
  • Vous êtes un expert d'Excel et vous faites du storytelling dans PowerPoint à l'aide de votre analyse
  • Vous pouvez voyager jusqu'à 20 % du temps.

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $147,600 and $238,700.

Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
