Purpose of the position

Under the responsibility of the Head Chef, the incumbent assists the chef and cooks in their tasks. He / She cuts and peels the vegetables or fruits, arranges the plates, prepares the meal carts and participates in the maintenance of the equipment and the kitchen with the rest of the team. Permanent full-time position, 30 hours a week, daytime from 7 : 00 to 5 : 30 and one weekend. Working days : 1st week Monday-Friday and Saturday, 2nd week Sunday-Thursday and Friday. Specifically, your daily life with us will look like :

• Ensure the kitchen and equipment are kept clean according to established hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork
• Assemble plates of food
• Maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and the workspace
• Supervise the preparation of cold meals and desserts
• Manning the warm table, help residences with their choices
• Perform other related duties
• Carry out cutting and peeling vegetables and fruits
