Journeyman Automotive Mechanic

The Role
We are seeking a Journeyman Automotive Mechanic (or strong 3rd Year Apprentice) who is confident in diagnosing and repairing cars and pickup trucks , with the ability to occasionally assist with commercial or mixed-fleet units . This role offers steady workflow, variety, and a well-organized shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, inspect, service, and repair automotive and light-duty vehicles
Troubleshoot engines, drivability issues, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems
Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
Communicate repair needs clearly with service writers and team members
Accurately document work completed
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Assist with commercial or fleet work as required
Requirements
Journeyman Automotive Mechanic or experienced 3rd Year Apprentice
Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
Valid Class 5 driver's license (Class 3 is an asset)
Own tools and required safety gear
Wheel alignment experience is an asset
CVIP license is an asset , not required
Team-oriented, reliable, and detail-focused
