The selected candidate will play a key role in the strategic management of purchasing activities, ensuring the efficient sourcing of materials required for production while fostering strong supplier relationships.Main Responsibilities:Manage the procurement of raw materials while meeting the company's cost objectivesDevelop procurement plans aligned with production schedules and sales forecastsCollaborate closely with engineering and quality teams to identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliersAnalyze purchasing trends, review pricing proposals, and monitor supplier performance metricsMaintain and strengthen trusted relationships with key suppliersEnsure optimal inventory levels from both qualitative and quantitative perspectivesOversee logistics related to purchasing and receiving goodsAdvise operations and leadership teams on best practices for sustainable and efficient sourcingSupport product development initiatives by assisting project teams with procurement and production timelinesCollege diploma in a field related to purchasing or supply chain managementMinimum of 3-4 years' experience in a similar roleFluency in both French and English, essential for communication with international suppliersStrong negotiation and communication skillsProven leadership abilities, with autonomy and a proactive, solution-oriented mindsetAnalytical thinking with a results-driven and initiative-focused approach
