Target Compensation : $22-$25 per hour, according to experience.
Regular Work Hours : FULL TIME WORK HOURS; Monday to Thursday 12 noon to 8 pm, not including 45 minute unpaid lunch break; and Fridays 9 am to 5 pm not including 45 minute unpaid lunch break and 2 breaks (36.25 work hours per week).
Work Location : 100% on site at our client's Etobicoke office (accessible by bus, parking pass provided).
Responsibilities Summary :
To provide reception and data entry support using strong interpersonal and sensitivity skills to provide desk coverage and support varied customer service and administrative responsibilities.
- Staff front desk of busy community service organization, checking in clients, entering data into a client intake system, and liaising with clinicians to ensure that communication between clinicians, clients and administrators is seamless and professional.
- Act as first point of contact for handling in-person concerns, applying tact and sensitivity to provide excellent customer service.
- Handle phone and email communications professionally and promptly.
- Support Office Manager in a variety of additional administrative responsibilities including data entry, scanning, communications and word processing.
- Additional front desk, facilities administration and clerical support functions as required.
Qualifications :
Education : Highschool diploma. Related postsecondary education an asset.
Preferred Work Experience : 1+ year experience in a public facing administrative / clerical position, experience in the healthcare or nonprofit sector an asset.
Technical and Language Skills Requirements :
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel (will be tested).Strong data entry skills and attention to detail (will be tested).Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, including satisfactory business writing skills, and professional telephone manners.Task -Based Qualifications and Additional Attributes :
Experience in a public facing administrative position.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively with staff and clients.Able to manage a high-volume workload, provide effective and professional customer service, and de-escalate situations tactfully where required.
