Reporting to the Field Sales Director, Alberta, the Territory Manager will be responsible for the implementation of the territorial sales plan to maximize sales volume and product distribution. This position is a 6-month contract , and the assigned territory is Central Alberta .
Responsibilities
- Develop sales strategies and tactics based on advice, customer feedback and the market environment
- Proactively identify and engage in opportunities to grow business, add value and keep our brands top of mind
- Achieve sales targets and generate sales growth in respective territory
- Manage designated budgets on a daily basis to grow business
- Manage route plans and account visits to accomplish daily tasks within workday
- Manage business related expenses and providing feedback on spending activities
- 100% compliance in tracking account calls, targets, objectives, distribution and account management in CRM platform
- Forecast volume estimates for account purchases utilizing sales data
- Participate in supplier visits, trade events, marketing blitz programs, and consumer events, all of which may fall outside of normal business hours
- Maintain an excellent understanding of our products, the competitive landscape and the customer’s business
Education and experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalentTwo (2) years of experience in a sales roleExperience in the alcoholic beverage industry (strong asset)WSET certification (strong asset)Skills
