Description de posteSupervise and provide direction to staff aligned with policies and procedures and standards of professional conduct Assist in ensuring that Team Leads and Direct Support Specialists (DSS) are scheduled in the homes in accordance with the funding guidelines Collaborate with Managers and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst where applicable to develop monthly activity recreational plan Collaborate with Management to ensure follow through on contracted services, including the Individual Support Plan (ISP) / Plan of Care (POC), Behaviour Support Plan (BSP) protocol Supervision and management of staff, Team Leads will report directly to this role. Assist in ensuring adherence to policies and procedures as well as regional licensing requirements. Escalate issues when required. Assist in training and onboarding of Team Leads and Direct Support Specialists in collaboration with Operations Managers whenever possible Assist in ensuring Team Leads and Direct Support Specialists are well aligned with the Key Accountabilities of their role and are meeting performance expectations including execution of recreation and activity plans. Recruitment of front-line staff. Conduct probationary reviews and annual performance reviews and performance management, and improvement plans. Contribute to solutions and support, often in collaboration with the Manager, when there are challenging performance issues Delivery of disciplinary warnings and terminations. Ensures that mandatory and annual training requirements provided by Human Resources are complete and gaps addressed. Report workplace injuries in reporting system and the workplace injury report is forwarded to the appropriate manager. Provide support and guidance to Team Leads with ensuring accurate records of house petty cash and the client’s personal cash, escalating concerns or challenges to managers when needed. Assist with monitoring client’s finances (expenditures, reimbursements, may include reconciling the client’s personal funds at month end). Completes audits as per policy. Minimum 2 year of experience in a supervisor or leadership role in a service-focused organization Minimum 3 years of experience working directly with clients with higher behavior support needs, intellectual / developmental disabilities and / or mental health diagnosis Demonstrated Client-centred focus with a commitment to providing quality care. Valid Class 5 Driver’s License Valid Vehicle Insurance with $ 2,000,000 liability Secondary Education or certification in Health, Business, Health Administration, or related field Strong knowledge of the health care system, and experience in home and community care Leadership skills Critical / Analytical skills Attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong computer literacy with various applications and programs Results-oriented with decision making Project Management Customer Service Finance Skills (accounting, budgeting, forecasting) Change management Conceptual Thinking
