About Your Role

As an Investment Analyst within WPI, you will play a key role in identifying, analyzing, and monitoring investment opportunities across global equity markets. This high-impact position in a growing firm provides direct exposure to portfolio decision-making and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct deep-dive fundamental research on companies across many sectors and geographies, keep abreast of important industry developments, publications and effectively communicate relevant information to the rest of the team.
• Identify promising secular trends to find long-term investment opportunities, primarily in developed public markets.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation frameworks.
• Monitor portfolio holdings and provide timely updates on key developments and presentation materials for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with the portfolio management team to refine investment theses and risk assessments.
• Participate in the development of proprietary research tools and frameworks leveraging AI and various automation tools.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our investment process, including elaborate strategies and priorities for WPI.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline; a master’s degree is an asset.
• Work experience in public equities, equity research, asset management, investment banking, or a related area, including internships.
• Background in Global Equity or experience in equity teams with a global reach (U.S., Emerging Markets, etc.) is preferred.
• Demonstrated strength in analytical thinking, financial modeling and critical judgement.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively.
• Proficiency with industry-standard finance tools such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ, and advanced Excel modeling.
• Experience with computer programming and AI applications in investment is an asset.
