Southwest Area Rural Locums

Job Description

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), Southwest Area is seeking qualified physicians to provide locum service to communities in the South West. The successful applicants will join the Department of Family Medicine and provide short-term itinerant services which may include : clinic, hospital, on call, long-term care facilities, satellite clinics and other duties as assigned. They will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team providing primary healthcare services in the southwest area. Benefits include :

Job Qualifications

Successful candidates must be eligible for licensure with the . The candidate will hold certification or be eligible for certification from the . Applicants will also hold ACLS certification and must have current coverage. Applicants must also have a valid Saskatchewan driver's license.

This individual should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management, and function well in a high volume environment with a commitment to provision of high quality patient and family centered care.
