Lumentum is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Software Automation Test Engineer (Co-op Student) to join the R&D Design Verification team in the Networking based in Ottawa .

You will have a positive impact on our success by :

• Contributing to the ongoing development of automated solutions for our next generation optical switches, amplifiers and circuit packs;
• Collecting and analyzing manufacturing data to improve product performance and quality;
• Solving complex technical problems;
• Working in close collaboration with the Optical, Hardware, Software, and Firmware R&D teams;
• Analyzing and characterizing device failures; and,
• Improving the quality and robustness of our products.
