Our client, a recognized boutique CPA Public Accounting Firm , is hiring a Staff Accountant - Audit to join their growing Milton office.

Salary :
90,000 - $100,000 per year for an experienced Staff Accountant... depending upon experience.
Up to $120,000 if candidate is hired at a Manager level.
Hours of Work : Monday to Friday, 9 : 00am - 5 : 00pm (Full-Time)

Requirements
An University degree or College diploma in accounting or in business with an emphasis on accounting - accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) required. Must have 4+ years of relevant experience, including working in a full-cycle accounting position. Must have a strong knowledge of the Canadian tax system, including completion / filing of T2. Multi-currency related knowledge is an asset. Being technically adept is critical. Developing automation and looking for efficiencies is a priority. Ability to analyze accurately and reconcile accounts. A thorough understanding of Canada's tax system and the ability to identify possible errors and / or omissions. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. High level of attention to detail combined with strong organization and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to work overtime when necessary and flexibility to work with changing priorities.
