Forklift Operator - Afternoons

Material Handler Cold Storage - (Temporary to Permanent) About Our Client Our client, a cold storage company in the Calgary area has been in business for over 100+ years is expanding and looking for a dynamic individual to add to their growing team.

What You Will Be Doing, as a Material Handler

• Manually move inventory via hand, pump truck
• Material Handling - reach truck (license required), Dock stocker and Power Jack
• Use operation lists to manage inventory and move inventory within the warehouse as needed
• Lifting up to 30lbs
• Working in a COLD STORAGE FACILITY (1-hour intervals)
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Should Have, as a Material Handler

• Minimum 1 year experience Material Handling - reach truck (license required), Dock stocker and Power Jack
• Communication skills in English both written and verbal required
• Able to lift up to 30lbs as needed
• Attention to detail.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

In Return, You Will Receive :

• $20 / hour + $0.75 shift premium from 6pm - 10pm
• Paid weekly, every Friday. (1 week behind)
• Opportunity for permanent hire
• 4% vacation pay accrued and paid out when you need it
• Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends

The Shift You Will be Working is :

• Monday to Friday
• Afternoon Shift - Sunday to THursday 2pm - 10pm

Where You Will Be Working, as an Inventory Control / Material Handler

• 52 St. SE and 114 Ave SE Calgary
• Please ensure bus availability prior to accepting if personal transportation is not available
