About the Role

Prime Tax Solutions is hiring two experienced Tax / Accounting Associates for the 2026 tax season. This role supports high-volume T1 / T2 tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, and CRA compliance work. This is a 100% on-site role at our Ajax office, with early morning and late evening hours during peak season.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Personal Tax (T1) returns
• Prepare Corporate Tax (T2) returns
• Perform bookkeeping and GL reconciliation
• Support payroll processing
• Prepare GST / HST returns
• Assist with CRA audit documentation
• Organize and validate client files
• Communicate with clients regarding missing details
• Support high-volume operations during peak tax season

Mandatory Requirements (No Exceptions)

✓ Minimum 2+ years of experience in a tax or accounting firm

✓ Direct hands-on experience with T1 / T2 preparation

✓ Experience with bookkeeping, payroll, and GST / HST filing

✓ Degree / Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field

✓ Must be able to work on-site in Ajax daily

✓ Must live within reliable commuting / driving distance

✓ Must be able to work early and late hours during peak tax months
