Town of Coaldale - Parks Labourer (Seasonal)

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY :

The Town of Coaldale is looking for positive and enthusiastic individuals to join the Parks team for the summer months. Reporting to the Parks Foreman, the Parks Labourers are responsible for maintaining all green spaces, pathways, garden / shrub beds, and Cemetery within the Town of Coaldale.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Operate and maintain equipment related to : mowing, trimming, weeding,  sweeping, cleaning, fertilizing, painting, pruning, chemical application, concrete, and playground repairs.
• Completing tasks related to : Irrigation repairs, landscape construction, urban forestry maintenance, playground maintenance, chemical application, weeding garden / shrub beds.
• Participate and follow the Town of Coaldale health and safety program.
• Maintain proper communication channel protocol to Foreman or Lead Hand if incidents arise.
• Other duties as assigned.
