Job Overview :

We're looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to grow our footprint in drone equipment and solutions. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to represent Volatus Drones as part of a global aerospace group, selling advanced hardware, aerial services, and training to a wide range of industries.

Working closely with the Volatus Drones team - and collaborating with the wider Volatus sales network - you'll play a key role in bringing cutting-edge drone technology to customers across Canada.

What You'll Do :

  • Drive Growth - Develop and execute a sales strategy to expand drone equipment and solutions in the Canadian market.
  • Build Relationships - Establish and nurture long-term partnerships with clients across energy, defence, public safety, infrastructure, and beyond.
  • Consult & Recommend - Conduct needs assessments to provide tailored solutions that position Volatus Drones as the partner of choice.
  • Close Deals - Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
  • Collaborate & Contribute - Support lead generation and brand visibility by working closely with the marketing team.
  • Influence Innovation - Share customer insights with product and engineering teams to shape future offerings.
  • Stay Organized - Keep CRM records accurate and up to date with all activities, opportunities, and pipeline progress.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in technology, aviation, or equipment sectors.
  • Interest in (or knowledge of) drone technology and its applications across industries (preferred but not required).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a hybrid / remote working environment.
  • Willingness to travel across Canada for client meetings and visits to our Vaughan HQ.
