In collaboration with indigenous communities, our Woodlands Team manages all aspects of forest management. Our staff of professionals are engaged in safety, forest stewardship plans, cutting permit and road development, site plan and silviculture prescription development, logging and road construction supervision, contract rate negotiation, financial analysis, forest certification, GIS, wildfire preparedness and response, log purchase and sales.
OPPORTUNITY :
We are seeking two (2) individuals to join our Woodlands Team. One position will be based out of the Canoe Forest Products Division, near Salmon Arm, BC, and the second position based out of our Woodlands Office, in Princeton, BC. If you are interested in gaining experience in planning, harvesting, silviculture, road construction, and environmental management by supporting the Gorman Woodlands Team, please apply. The FIT will perform a combination of field and office work. This is a permanent full-time position.
SALARY RANGE : $75,000 to $95,000 per year, dependent on education and experience.
