Job Duties

• Lead and develop an effective and efficient period end financial reporting process.
• Manage bank accounts, cash management, and cash forecasting.
• Review and maintain General Ledger accounts and sub-ledgers, investigating unusual transactions or unexpected account balances.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements on a consolidated and unconsolidated basis, including working papers.
• Coordinate year‑end audit process and finalize audited financial statements.
• Respond to external auditor questions and regulator requests for information.
• Ensure accounting activities comply with legal, regulatory, and company policies and procedures.
• Identify and implement improved internal controls to increase efficiency and strengthen financial governance.
• Review all inter‑company reconciliations and accounting schedules monthly.
• Liaise with IT for system and process improvement opportunities.
• Work closely with Manager Taxation, Manager FP&A, and the Manager of New Business Analysis to identify profit and cost‑reduction opportunities, support budgeting and forecasting, and support new business development activities.
• Participate in other ad‑hoc finance‑related projects and duties as assigned.
