Casual Educational Assistants - Various Locations

Pembina Hills School Division (PHSD) is now accepting applications for Casual Educational Assistants to work at various school locations throughout the division. Applicants are asked to indicate their preferred location(s) in their cover letter.

Casual Educational Assistants are part of a casual replacement pool and provide support in classrooms when regular Educational Assistants are absent. In this role, you will assist teachers and students by supporting learning activities, helping with individual or small-group instruction, and contributing to a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment. Successful candidates must be flexible, reliable, and willing to work collaboratively as part of a school-based team.

Pembina Hills School Division (PHSD) provides education to approximately 3500 students in . PHSD also provides education to 1,300+ full-time and 5,300+ part-time school-aged students and adult students and nearly 4,600 students in the summer from within and beyond our borders, through our online school, .

Qualifications :

• Preference will be given to applicants with an understanding of childhood development
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students and adults
• Must demonstrate ability to work as a member of the school team, taking direction from classroom teacher, special education lead teacher, and consultants
• Enthusiastic and motivated to help students succeed
• Ability to work in a flexible learning environment
• First aid would be an asset
