Your new role

As a Senior Estimator, you report to the Chief Estimator and will prepare and submit estimates. This position contributes to the overall organization by bidding on various types of work and handing over successful bids to the project team. This role primarily interacts with the estimating team, Chief Estimator, VP of Estimating, and Project Coordinators with the goal of project pursuit and acquisition. Coordination andmunication with the operations staff is key to ensuring feedback from ongoing projects and input for creating estimates. Contact with clients, subcontractors, and vendors will also be required, and the utmost professionalism is expected during these interactions.

What you'll need to succeed

• Advanced understanding of Programs / Software – Heavy Bid and Heavy Job (HCSS)
• Advanced understanding on how toplete accurate quantity takeoffs for the following types of work : Large-scale excavationsDetailed excavationsDeep utilitiesShallow utilitiesFlatworksEarthworks (cut-to-fill, road cross-sections, ditch grading, retaining walls, etc.)Miscellaneous works
