Volunteer Opportunity : Ticket Scanner

Capitol Theatre Port Hope is looking for volunteers to serve as Ticket Scanner.

What you’ll be doing

• Retrieve a hand‑held scanner from the volunteer room and ensure it is working.
• Welcome patrons in a friendly, welcoming manner and scan tickets.
• Direct patrons to the lobby and advise on bathroom, concession sales, and bar locations.
• Assist patrons with mobility (wheelchair, walkers) by directing them to an usher for elevator access.

On‑site : 20 Queen Street, Port Hope, Ontario L1A2Y7.

Shift : Ongoing opportunity; flexible.

Eligibility

Minimum Age Requirement : Adult (Age 18‑54)
