System Integration / Test Engineer

About the role

The successful candidate contributes to our key projects as a member of our Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) Cross Product Team (CPT) as follows :

  • Support functional testing of combat system software
  • Support system integration testing leading to acceptance of combat system software
  • Support regression testing of combat system software.

Specific duties include :

  • Develop test plans and procedures to verify software requirements in an Agile environment
  • Document results in the Lockheed Martin Canada Inc. (Lockheed Martin) Test Management System
  • Document, assess, and test deficiencies using the Lockheed Martin defect tracking tool.

What you bring to the role

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Computer Science or related engineering discipline and minimum 2-years' experience
  • Must be willing to support schedule including evenings and weekends, as required
  • Must have an aptitude for solving challenging problems in a team environment
  • Must have a high degree of initiative and autonomy
  • Must be able to obtain North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret security clearance.

Additional skills desired for the role

  • Software test experience
  • Software test automation experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
  • Familiarity with Linux
  • Familiarity with Java and C++
  • Familiarity with Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS)
  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodology is considered an asset
  • Active NATO Secret security clearance is considered an asset.
