The Oncology Data Science (ODS) organization has recently been established to centralize data, engineering, analytics, and AI expertise to lead the early and late Oncology drug development portfolio with data science-driven insights. The team comprises multiple groups across the Cambridge UK, Boston MA, Gaithersburg MD, Munich DE, Barcelona SP sites. ODSP develops technology, software, and data infrastructure to advance our Oncology data science. Our vision is to evolve data science into a driver of innovation within Oncology. We do this by crafting a strategic culture that values our data as a true business asset, organizing our data so that it’s accessible and easy to find, integrated, and re-usable for Humans & AI, and building the best data computational tools to support scientific decision making .
ODSP is looking for a “Senior Scientist - Medical Computer Vision” to specialize in the development of advanced medical image-based statistical and machine learning models for non-invasive clinical endpoint modeling. This role will sit within the Radiomics & Computer Vision team with heavy emphasis on interacting with early and late-stage oncology development teams, clinical trial teams and other collaborators involved in the development of the solution.
What you will do
The “Senior Scientist - Medical Computer Vision” will apply their subject matter expertise to develop state-of-the-art solutions for non-invasive endpoint modelling. The Senior Scientist will work to leverage foundational and cutting-edge techniques to manipulate and process medical image data, in combination with business domain knowledge, to develop and apply advanced modelling algorithms ( classification, regression, clustering, graph theory and more) to generate business and scientific insights. The role will work within defined project scope and solutions aligned to established governance frameworks and policies.

Collaborates in a multidisciplinary environment with world leading clinicians, data scientists and statisticians, biological experts, clinical trial delivery teams, and IT professionals.
