Position : CAD Drafting

JOB DESCRIPTION RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Review of plans, details and specifications for upcoming projects from plans and specifications focused on roofing and waterproofing details
• Communicate with the design authority and end user , contractor, as to specifics of the expansion joints configuration
• Prepare expansion joint layouts on AutoCAD for quoting purposes based on reviewed expansion joints layouts by design authority or customer
• Create custom expansion joint details for non-standard conditions, on a project-to-project basis
• Work alongside other drafting technicians to coordinate workload and collaborate on more demanding projects as needed
• Maintain organized and timely deliverables for sales and production departments
• Communicate deadlines and timelines clearly and consistently with sales and quotations departments
