Ready to build a career with a company shaping Western Canada’s natural stone industry? K2 Stone is looking for a driven, energetic Inside Sales Representative to join our Nanaimo team. As the face of our showroom, you’ll help customers in person, over the phone, and occasionally on-site—delivering an exceptional experience every time. From maintaining top-notch product presentations to generating leads, managing inventory, and hitting sales targets, you’ll play a key role in growing the K2 brand.

Compensation

  • Total annual earnings ranging from $60,000 to $90,000, inclusive of base pay, commission, and bonuses.

What You’ll Do

  • Support customers in the showroom and over the phone with knowledgeable, friendly service
  • Manage warehouse operations: inventory accuracy, freight orders, and product quality control
  • Maintain the showroom/yard to brand-standard presentation
  • Generate leads, build strong customer relationships, and ensure client satisfaction
  • Solve customer challenges with professionalism and positivity
  • Create proposals and RFP responses, and present them confidently
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
  • Provide competitive, accurate pricing while maximizing profitability
  • Conduct site visits and attend trade shows as needed
  • Deliver timely feedback to management on pipeline activity and customer interactions
  • Collaborate with internal teams and uphold K2’s business ethics and policies
  • Perform other duties that contribute to a smooth, successful operation

What You Bring

  • Sales experience or background in masonry, landscaping, tool rental, or building supply
  • Strong customer service mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Solid communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation
  • Motivated team player with creativity and enthusiasm
  • Proficiency with basic computer programs (Windows, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving, objection-handling, and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to perform basic math and manage pricing with accuracy
  • Willingness to occasionally travel for sales events
  • High integrity, work ethic, and reliability
  • Valid driver’s license + access to a vehicle
