Description de posteStrong communication, budgeting & financial management skills A sense of humour Must be double vaxxed 5+ years related, progressive experience in employment services, education, disability services or rehabilitation - preferably within at least 2 of these areas Demonstrated understanding of the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities Familiarity with the community living sector, and more generally with the landscape for human & social services in BC Experience working in a Unionized environment Strong networking skills with a high degree of comfort engaging senior managers in business, community organizations & government 80000.00 - $90000.00 annually Benefits package that includes; dental, EAP, Extended health & Life Insurance Matching pension plan 4 weeks vacation to start Free Parking Professional Development
A typical day :
- Works with CEO & Senior Management on service delivery, and organizational strategy
- Ensure compliance with all policy and process requirements
- Engages & works with stakeholders including families, caregivers, funders, advocates & community partners
- Stays current with trends & innovations related to learning, employment & service delivery models
- Assists in negotiating service contracts
- Works with CEO on fundraising, grant proposals, donor relations as well as communication & marketing strategies
