POSITION SUMMARY
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of your responsibilities, you will be assigned the following duties :
Analysis and review of investment documentation to ensure accurate accounting of investments and investment-related activities for the Funds of the investment strategiesCoordinate and oversee the investment accounting, operating and investor capital activities prepared and performed by the fund administratorsAnalysis and review of monthly and quarterly financial statements and investor reporting for the Funds of the investment strategiesPreparation of complete annual financial statements and related notes to the financials for the FundsAnalysis and review of the management and performance feesCoordination of the external annual auditAnalysis and review of monthly accounting close processes of the monthly operating activities to ensure accurate accounting recordsCoordination of the tax returns and sales tax returns with the external tax advisors, preparation of the supporting documentation and review of the returnsDevelop and participate in the documentation, implementation and maintenance of adequate and effective internal controls and proceduresTake on many different roles and tasks to support the growth of the businessEDUCATION / ACCREDITATION
Undergraduate in Business Administration or AccountingCPA designation is requiredEXPERIENCE AND SPECIFIC SKILLS
5 years of experience in private market fund and direct investments accounting and financial reportingStrong communication and presentation skillsTeam playerAbility to work independently and take initiativeBilingualism required (fluency in French and English)Ability and flexibility to adapt to a wide range of roles
