Overview
Responsible for assembling custom signage to exact specifications, working with electrical and mechanical components, and ensuring the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and shop drawings.
- Visualize and plan the assembly process based on wiring layouts and mechanical drawings.
- Perform electrical wiring techniques, including stripping, terminating, and crimping.
- Take precise measurements to ensure accurate fit and alignment of components.
- Assemble signage components using fasteners, adhesives, and illumination systems.
- Install and test LED illumination systems for correct type, voltage, and color temperature.
- Conduct quality checks (alignment, finish, structural security, and electrical safety).
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean workstation, following PPE and H&S standards.
- Communicate issues, missing parts, or discrepancies to the Production Supervisor promptly.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of signage assembly experience.Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, assembly drawings, and wiring layouts.Familiar with electrical and mechanical knowledge (preferable).Mechanically inclined with proven ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, manuals, and shop drawings.Ability to work under minimal supervision with strong attention to detail.Benefits
