Wild Ridge Landscapes is an award-winning, mid-sized landscape and winter services company looking to add a Winter Sidewalk Crew Lead to our team to assist with ice and snow removal operations.

Our landscape maintenance and snow teams work together to ensure the highest standards of care are being met while we service commercial and residential properties throughout Ottawa. $2 per hours end-of-season discretionary bonus

15 hours guaranteedper week balancing every 4-week period (terms apply) for full-time employees

Job Title :

Winter Sidewalk Crew Lead

Job Type :

Fixed-term contract (November 2025-April 2026)

Main Purpose of Job :

Safely and efficiently manage a crew and an assigned snow route with the necessary equipment.

Reports to :

Regional Winter Supervisor

Snow Division Manager

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Drive the crew to job sites with truck and trailer
• Responsible for all winter snow clearing and related activities as assigned by Operations Manager and Regional Supervisor
• Responsible for the direction of a sidewalk crew
• Responsible for planning and delegation of tasks to crew members
• Ensuring that Companys high safety and quality standards are followed
• Operating snow equipment such as snow blowers
• Heavy lifting is a requirement and a key part of the job
• Safe handling of gasoline, oils, diesel fuels, grease and other equipment related fluids etc.
• Shop work, vehicle and equipment maintenance activities as assigned
• Requires on-call availability 24-7, with 1 hour response time
• Willingness to work in all types of weather and at irregular times
