Nourishment Checker - (224158)

In accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values, and strategic directions of Vancouver Island Health Authority patient safety is a priority and a responsibility shared by everyone at VIHA and as such, the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.

The Nourishment Checker performs a variety of Food Services duties relating to the preparing and portioning of therapeutic diet items and checking patient trays to ensure dietary accuracy in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Grade 10; and one (1) year recent, related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
