Accounting Technician, Matching

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounting Technician Matching on a temporary basis on our Corporate Accounting team (term up to 7 months).

This position is a hybrid opportunity based in Saskatoon SK. Members of this team are currently coming into the office one day a week.

What youll do:

• Match supplier and interbranch invoices with purchase orders receipts and supporting documents ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies using appropriate GL coding.

• Prepare and process supplier claims including damages shortages manual adjustments and journal entries.

• Collaborate with FCL commodities and distribution centers to ensure timely accurate matching and issue resolution with vendors.

• Support the Accounts Payable team in identifying and clearing system mismatches and investigating claim disputes.

• Other duties as required.

You will work closely with 4 other Accounting Technicians and will be part of a larger team of professionals reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor. This team strives to cultivate a culture of teamwork and conversation helping to share the workload to meet stakeholder needs.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Finance and:

• Have a high school diploma two post-secondary courses in financial accounting from an accredited post-secondary institution and a minimum of one year of relevant accounting experience.

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience related to the applicable functional area.
