About the Role :
As a member of the Clinical Leadership Team, the Clinical Supervisor Supportive Housing is accountable for providing clinical direction and oversight, program planning, programming, recruitment support and direct supervision of staff working in the Permanent Supportive Housing program, in Guelph.
This role will work collaboratively with the Clinical Leadership team in support of the Agency's Supportive Housing programs. Previous experience with supportive housing interventions is essential to this role; experience in community-based work is an asset.

Hours of Work :
- Monday to Friday (days), with evening and weekend work required on a rotational / regular to supervise and support staff teams (the Clinical Supervisor will adjust their schedule so that they are working a minimum of 2 evenings and 2 weekend shifts per month);
- Additional flexibility may be required to provide support to the staff teams this role supervises
- Participation in a mandatory clinical 'on call' rotation is also required, as a shared responsibility of the Clinical Leadership team

Completion of a BSW or other University Degree relevant to mental health, addiction or Social ServicesMinimum of 1 years direct clinical work with individuals experiencing addiction and concurrent mental health issues requiredRegistration with a professional college (i.e. OCSWSSW or CRPO) an assetPrevious experience in supportive housing interventions mandatoryExperience providing clinical supervision and team leadershipStrong knowledge of addictions theory and practice, withdrawal management, peer-based service delivery, and current best practices particularly concurrent and trauma-informedExperience in community-based work a strong assetKnowledge of ABI, developmental issues, medical complexity an assetLived experience related to addictions and / or mental health an assetCertified Addictions Counsellor or equivalent would be an assetCSC Clearance conducted by PWGS CanadaStandard First Aid / CPR Level CValid G drivers license and Satisfactory Motor Vehicle RecordOwn transportation / reliable vehicle requiredMust be able to attend work (travel to 24-7 Centres) within an hour of notification, when on callRole Responsibilities :
Leadership and Supervision
Oversee Permanent Supportive Housing staff including :Supporting professional development of clinical staff through routine supervision
Providing coaching, feedback, mentoring, and targeted use of supervision as required
Complete probationary and annual performance appraisals for all supervisees in consultation with Clinical Manager - Supportive HousingAdministrative management including oversight of case noting, service events, reporting and target achievementParticipate in new staff recruitment in conjunction with the HR Manager and the Clinical Manager Supportive HousingBuild and maintain high performance teamsGuide clinical decision-making and manage high-risk situationsProvide on call support and crisis supervision on off hours, on a rotational basis, as requiredFacilitate team meetingsParticipate in team and portfolio meetingsSupport and enhance a culture of openness and mutual respect within and across teamsAttend monthly Clinical Leadership Team meeting and associated events / meetingsParticipate in a support / development planProvide coverage for the Clinical Manager during short term absences (holiday coverage, etc.); take on necessary responsibilities and support agency and program decision makingOngoing Program Development for Housing Services
Conduct onboarding, orientation, and training for staff and residentsSupport staff in utilizing a TC approach to decision making and interventionsWork alongside the STC Leadership Team, while utilizing the Therapeutic Community ("TC") approach, to support program developmentWork alongside Leadership and Joint Health and Safety committee to ensure program and location safetyAdministrative
Oversee / complete staff schedulingMaintaining supply inventory and ordering practicesComplete regular clinical file auditsMaintain thorough and accurate supervisions notes and filesParticipate in quality assurance processes such as accreditation and the implementation of program outcome measurement tools and reporting of results (i.e. client satisfaction surveys, retention results, etc.)Sign off hours for electronic payrollApplications will be accepted until January 30th, 2026 at 4pm.
