Job Title : Client Solutions Executive

Business Unit : Field Sales, Solutions & Business Development

Reports to (Title) : Manager, Operations

General Accountability :

The Client Solutions Executive reports directly to the Manager, Operations. The Client Solutions Executive is responsible for generating new sales opportunities within the Commercial and Industrial sectors.

The primary focus is on account growth and development within the assigned sector. This role is measured on the ability to meet monthly productivity goals and must achieve balanced performance of product and service sales as stipulated within goal sheets.

Specific Accountabilities :

  • Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.
  • Formulate a commercially viable business case and drive the deal to closing.
  • Cold call prospective customers, identifying and qualifying leads.
  • Manage target account plans and opportunity management processes.
  • Work closely with Manager, Operations, and other resources to determine customer requirements.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process including quoting and negotiating.
  • Cross-sell and up-sell to build revenue and margin.
  • Collaborate with internal support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceed required sales targets.
  • Manage outstanding accounts receivable for items over 60 days.
  • Participate in call-based promotion campaigns as required.
  • Stay current on relevant technologies and trends.

Qualifications (Education / Experience / Skills & Abilities) :

  • Bilingual (French and English).
  • Post-secondary education with a minimum of 5 years of sales experience with solution-based products.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a progressively complex customer base.
  • Detailed knowledge across multi-vendor product lines.
  • Proven ability to meet sales quotas and acquire new customers.
  • Extensive knowledge of the IT industry and marketplace trends.
  • Highly developed relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office products.

Physical Requirements :

Office environment with computer work. May involve extensive periods of sitting, typing, and phone use. May need to lift up to 10 lbs.
