A.W. Chesterton is a leading international manufacturer of industrial fluid sealing systems, high performance protective coatings and specialized industrial maintenance products is seeking a new Shipper/Receiver/Repair Centre Technician for its Montreal center.

•Salary $50,000 - $55,000 (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
⦁ Perform diverse shipping / receiving activities and maintain the inventory count utilizing D365 .
⦁ Set up and operate simple machines, i.e. sandblasters and polishing tools.
⦁ Use various hand and power tools, i.e. drill press.
⦁ Perform simple in-process quality control functions based on established engineering standards.
⦁ Operate a CNC for cutting gaskets. (Training provided)
⦁ Perform simple production tasks, cut packing braids and assemble kits.
⦁ May carry out work tasks with instructions, if necessary.
⦁ Perform other manufacturing floor functions, i.e. Assemble skids and wooden crates.
⦁ Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.


Qualifications
Qualifications and specifications:

⦁ 1-2 years experience in a Warehouse or Shipping/Receiving environment preferred.

⦁ Ability to work under general supervision with the ability to work independently as needed.

⦁ Ability to follow detailed written and/or verbal instructions/procedures which will ensure safety on the job and efficient, effective inventory management process.

⦁ Must be able to lift 75 lbs. as needed for the role.

⦁ Ability to operate and maintain a fork truck as needed.

⦁ Bilingual: Ability to speak, read, and write in French and English
