As the Quality and Compliance Assurance Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Quality Assurance Manager and Compliance Manager by carrying out incoming inspection of new and ongoing shipments of hard and soft goods, mattresses and seasonal items as well as fulfilling spare parts requests.
You will test, inspect and evaluate samples and report any variances that are found.
This role is also involved in new product evaluation and developing product specification using your experience and technical background.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate with researching and writing product specifications.
- Conduct First Article and Pre-production inspections and test on new or revised product designs.
- Fulfill spare parts orders requests
- Review compliance documentation and requirements
- Maintaining and controlling all inspection and testing documents
- Reviewing assembly instructions for accuracy, controlling and approving new revision of assembly instruction.
- Investigate the issue reported by stores for its scope and root cause by communicating with category managers, store managers and suppliers.
- Reviewing customer issues and working on the corrective / preventive actions
- Participating with new products review and providing input by identifying potential issues.
- Reviewing and processing defective product report.
- Understanding the customers’ needs and requirements by reviewing the customer feedback and product review.
- Ensuring product specifications are met by the supplier through inspection and experiment.

Colleague will frequently lift, sort, carry, and place merchandise and supplies of varying sizes weighing up to 20 kg without assistance and over 20 kg with team lifting.
Compensation : Generally, the hiring range for this position is $45,000 to $50,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, internal and market equity.
