The Reliability Specialist will be responsible for working to optimize asset reliability and efficiency. This role involves conducting reliability assessments, developing maintenance strategies, and implementing reliability improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Conduct reliability analyses using tools such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM);
  • Develop and implement reliability optimization plans to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime;
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies;
  • Analyze equipment performance data using Pareto analysis to identify reliability issues and trends (bad actors);
  • Provide recommendations for performance improvements based on data analysis;
  • Lead and participate in reliability improvement and implementation projects.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • A Bachelor's degree or DEC in a relevant field;
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience as a reliability engineer, reliability specialist, reliability consultant, etc.;
  • Strong communication skills and proven leadership abilities;
  • Knowledge of CMMS systems such as Maximo, SAP, JD Edwards, etc.;
  • Willingness to travel to client sites (approximately 50-60% of the time).
  • Strong French language skills, written and spoken
  • English, written and spoken, would be an asset
  • LOCATION : Province of Québec - frequent travel
