Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor before starting repairsAdjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems including :Chassis, frame, cab, body, engine and drive train, air brakes, steering, fuel and hydraulics using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment
Refinish equipment using industry-standard paint equipment, facilities and materialsAdjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems including structural, brake and electrical systemsDiagnose and repair electronic and electrical systemsInstallation of new truck accessoriesOther duties and projects as assignedQualifications
1 year of experience as a Body Shop TechnicianValid Class 5, prefer 1 OR 3 Driver’s License with air endorsementFabrication & welding experience requiredAluminum welding is an assetSuperior mechanical aptitude with an in-depth knowledge of heavy duty truck repairsStrong computer skillsDetail-orientedExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong personal organizational skills as they relate to workload, time management and setting priorities in an unsupervised environmentEffective problem solving skillsCompensation Rate
$25.59 - $51.17 per hourPay rate will be determined based on previous experience, relevant certifications and apprenticeship levelPowered by JazzHR
