Introduction

Our client, a leading manufacturer of commercial food service equipment, is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join their engineering team. This intermediate-level role involves supporting the design, development, testing, verification, and improvement of mechanical and electromechanical products. Working under the guidance of a Staff Engineer, the successful candidate will contribute to new product development, product enhancements, and production support activities. This position is fully onsite at the client's Concord, Vaughan facility.

Responsibilities

• Support new product designs, product improvements, test analysis, and production / service collaboration.
• Assist with the design, development, testing, and verification of mechanical and electromechanical systems.
• Prepare concept sketches, detailed drawings, 3D models, and specification documents.
• Conduct root-cause analysis, performance testing, feasibility studies, and cost evaluations.
• Develop and maintain bills of materials (BOMs), component requirements, and assembly instructions for commercial equipment.
• Prepare progress reports, design documentation, and project-related technical materials.
• Assist with the creation of manuals, sales literature, and technical documents for assigned projects.
• Support timely, cost-effective execution of engineering tasks in alignment with product development schedules and objectives.
