Description de poste2 years to less than 3 years On site (no remote) Work must be completed at the physical location. Work site environment : Outdoors, Dangerous, Hot, Cold / refrigerated Direct planting of trees, gardens and lawns Hire, supervise and schedule staff Organize planting of trees, gardens and lawns Resolve work problems by providing technical advice to increase the value and functionality of a property Schedule events, programs and activities Schedule work Plan and direct grounds maintenance Plan and estimate labour and materials Organize and direct construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work Maintain work records and logs Tender and administer contracts Read blueprints and drawings Repair and maintain equipment Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality Supervise nursery and greenhouse workers 5-10 people Backhoe Chain saw Forklift Front end loader Pick-up truck Small engine equipment Sod cutter Tractor Tractor mower Skidsteer Snow removal Interior landscaping Lawn care Tree service Grounds maintenance Design Landscape construction Garden centre Nursery or greenhouse Valid driver's licence Drive manual transmission vehicle Fast-paced environment Work under pressure Tight deadlines Handling heavy loads Physically demanding Manual dexterity Attention to detail Ability to distinguish between colours Combination of sitting, standing, walking Standing for extended periods Bending, crouching, kneeling Large workload Steel-toed safety boots Gloves Safety vest Client focus Excellent oral communication Initiative Judgement Team player Flexibility
