SLEEGERS Engineered Products Inc. is a leading North American supplier of engineered solutions for the pressure vessel and propane industries. We design and manufacture a variety of engineered products including propane motor fuel tanks, commercial and industrial pressure vessels, and automated propane cylinder vending kiosks.
Founded in 1963 and based in London, Ontario, we are proud to employ a diverse team of highly skilled welding and engineering professionals. Our 147,000 square foot production facility boasts a state-of-the-art air quality and ventilation system, ten skylights, and high-efficiency LED lighting throughout the production floor.
The Opportunity
We are recruiting aQuality Inspectorto help facilitate the ongoing growth at SLEEGERS. This person will join our Quality Team and will be critical in ensuring our products adhere to our high standard of quality by verifying and ensuring our customer specifications are being met. Your core responsibilities will include :
- Working collaboratively with our Quality, Production, and Supply Chain teams to diligently execute the mandate of SLEEGERS Quality Program with minimal oversight
- Inspection and testing of SLEEGERS components and products for conformance to engineering specifications, customer requirements and PPAP control plans
- Other duties as assigned
The Ideal Candidate
Minimum of one year of hands-on material inspection experienceHas a basic knowledge of GD&THas a basic knowledge of receiving inspection processIs computer literate; previous experience with SYSPRO ERP is considered an assetIs detail oriented and can effectively manage competing prioritiesHas a working knowledge of first-off and last-off inspectionsHas a working knowledge of assemblies and mechanical / electrical testing / inspectionsA working knowledge of Section II and VIII of the ASME Boilers and Pressure Vessel Code preferredA working knowledge of powder coatings and chemical testing preferredUnderstands the importance of our high degree of product quality and compliance to health and safety standardsPost-secondary education in a related quality field, with previous experience in a manufacturing environment, is preferredAbility to stand, bend, lift and carry up to 40lbsThe Benefits
