Overview

Paladin Security is seeking a dedicated Security Guard for its Healthcare Security team in Valleyview. The role requires strong customer service skills, the ability to remain calm in high‑pressure situations, and a passion for helping people. The position offers hands‑on experience in conflict de‑escalation, violence prevention, emergency response, and patient interaction.

Responsibilities

• Monitors patient safety and reports concerns to Protective Services or clinical staff.
• Reports all incidents according to site procedures.
• Responds to alarms and emergency calls.
• Enforces safety regulations, codes, and protocols.
• Handles confidential and sensitive information professionally.
• Uses two‑way radios and computer systems to communicate site updates.
• Screens and assists visitors and clients respectfully.
• De‑escalates and manages high‑stress situations.
• Logs and documents incidents and patient interactions.
• Provides prompt emergency assistance.
