Assistant Store Manager

Dollarama in Oshawa, ON is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join their retail team. This is a hands‑on leadership role that supports the Store Manager in overseeing all aspects of daily store operations.

Responsibilities

• Support store operations including opening and closing procedures
• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of store associates
• Oversee merchandising and ensure products are properly displayed and replenished
• Manage inventory including receiving shipments and conducting stock counts
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns
• Enforce loss prevention policies and health and safety compliance
• Handle administrative duties including scheduling, cash management, and reporting

Requirements

• Previous retail experience in a supervisory or leadership role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Problem‑solving skills to handle day‑to‑day store challenges
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
• Basic computer literacy for administrative functions
