Job Summary

Laboratory Assistant – Histology – Student position – On site Training

As a Laboratory Assistant for our Histology team located in Senneville (Ouest Island of Montreal), you will execute support tasks related to the preparation of tissue for microscopic evaluation. Your contribution will ensure the health of our animals, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.

In this role, primary responsibilities include :

• Perform some technical tasks (cover slipping of slide, embedding, cutting, processing, trimming etc.).
• Prepare solutions for lab use such as Chrome Alum, Hematoxylin & Eosin.
• Prepare studies according to the information received from the team leaders / technical specialists.
• Maintain laboratory supplies (solutions, material) and laboratory cleanliness.
