Registered Veterinary Technician – 4 Day work week!

Campbellville Animal Hospital – a growing, independently owned practice in the Milton area – is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team.

Registered Veterinary Technicians, highly valued members of our team, have the opportunity to use their skills and knowledge in daily practice. We offer a condensed work week for our full-time employees (4 days per week) and we are closed on weekends because we know how important your work-life balance is. We value your time off just as much as your time on the job!

We are a 2 doctor practice and you will work alongside 2 RVTs.

Hourly wage of $22-$26 / hour

Bonuses available upon completion of 90 day probationary period

Qualifications

Certification as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Strong knowledge of animal care and handling

Proficiency in laboratory procedures and diagnostics

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Experience in administering medications and treatments to animals

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarian in diagnosing and treating animal patients by conducting laboratory tests and procedures.

Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation of patient care.

Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding treatment plans and post-operative care.

Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies for various diagnostic tests.

Adhere to safety protocols and standards to ensure a safe environment for animals and staff.

Collaborate with team members to provide high-quality veterinary care.
